Campus Location

Nugaal University campus will be located in a new district NW of Lasanod, the Regional capital. The campus is roughly about 150*100 M2. The present campus is a temporary compound located at the centre of Lasanod city.

Strategic Objectives

Develop and maintain a campus that promotes and supports academic achievement and personal growth

Strategic Actions:

Provide Campus Master Plan for rehabilitation of existing facilities and infrastructure to support the mission of the University.

Enhance the beauty and utility of the campus through thoughtful landscaping

Acquire land for campus expansion while developing and beautifying the campus perimeter in conjunction with the community.

Ensure that current and future buildings meet present needs and will accommodate future growth

Provide plan to protect and preserve the University facilities and infrastructure elements so as to ensure that a quality learning environment is provided now and in the future.

Develop the university's long-range facility plan in a manner that is consistent with the university mission.

Strategic Actions:

Assess major repairs and rehabilitation needs for existing facility.
Identify the purpose, size, function, and location of each building.
Evaluate campus landscape components and develop overall campus master plan.

Provide budget estimate for regular maintenance of existing facilities.

Provide budget plan and approximate capital cost for additional facilities to support the education mission.

Recognizing the importance of constituent and political support needed to obtain funding for new facilities.

Encourage donor recognition in facility-naming opportunities
Benchmark space utilization data with the other regional universities

Evaluate the University neighborhood land use and ownership.
